“Oh my God, you are not like you!"

Till today, I have worked in Alliance for one month. At the beginning, I think it will be very easy in garment field, because we wear clothes and see clothes everyday. But after one month, I find there are really a lot of things to learn if you want to be a qualified merchandiser. We should know the knowledge about the fabric, accessories, production process, etc. Luckily, my manager and other colleagues help me a lot, they are so kind and lovely and tell me everything I don’t know.

 

Before formal order or bulk production, we will do some samples, so checking samples is one of the most important links in the whole chain. We must be more careful to find any deviations, even a very very small bartack. We mainly manufacture workwear trousers and jackets, for a carpenter trousers, some styles have more than 70 bartacks which may be easily missed during production.
